The Beauty of Bespoke: Developing Digital Platforms Which Complement Your Business

      By Woody Maxey-Graham 01 Jun 2020

The challenges we have been presented with over the past few months have caused major disruptions to the ways in which we work and have forced business to find new and creative ways to operate. In person interaction was forbidden seemingly overnight and the enforcement of remote work quickly saw these working conditions become the new norm.

Following these restrictions, businesses quickly became reliant on digital platforms to enable operational continuity with as much normality as possible. Video conferencing tools have been a great example of this, enabling continued face to face communication and connection with both internal staff and existing or potential clients.

Businesses, however, are complex. Each rely on its own unique internal processes to function, and it would be foolish to believe that any single pre-developed digital tool could meet all these specific needs. Rather, business must adjust their process to operate within the confines of the tools’ pre-determined system functionality.

Bespoke platform development is different, placing the unique requirements of an organisation first. Developers gain a sound understanding of requirements prior to development and then build a tailored solution which meets needs and perfectly complements existing processes.

The bespoke nature of MindAtlas’ products, have enabled us to work alongside organisations all around the world to custom develop digital solutions to their unique challenges. These have included the need to upskill retail staff on new products remotely, to oversee and direct staffs time allocation whilst working from home, programs to schedule and book online training courses and the delivery of topical learning content such as mental health, coping with loneliness and domestic and family violence. These platforms have given our client partners the freedom to not only continue to function throughout these testing times, but to develop robust systems on which they will rely long after normality has resumed.
